The Solo began with a simple idea: bring the warmth of Mediterranean home cooking to East London. At home we spend hours perfecting family recipes, and we wanted a place where eating out felt just as generous. Set in Museum Gardens on Cambridge Heath Road, minutes from Bethnal Green station, the restaurant serves traditional dishes from the Mediterranean coast, each with a regional twist of our own.
Mornings start with full breakfasts, shakshuka, eggs and pancakes until 3pm. From noon the à la carte takes over: mezze and sharing platters, stone-oven pizzas, fresh filled pasta and Wagyu burgers, with vegetarian and vegan dishes throughout. At the bar, signature cocktails, spritzes and a deep gin list carry the evening, with live performances and DJ nights at weekends.
Three spaces, three moods. The Rooftop Terrace opens to the sky under a retractable roof, so it works rain or shine. The Olive Garden is a calm courtyard for intimate lunches and dinners, and the Palm Garden is made for celebrations. Each can be booked for private events.
